SS Disc is 100% encapsulated in virgin PTFE, eliminating any metal contact with the process media.
Resists 98% sulfuric acid, chlorine, hydrochloric acid, solvents, and caustic soda across pH 0–14.
PTFE is inert to most organic and inorganic acids and alkalis, with only molten alkali metals posing a threat.
PTFE seat provides exceptionally tight shutoff with 0 leakage.
