The valve body is cast from GGG40/500-7 ductile iron and coated with a durable epoxy finish for external corrosion protection. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) seat is fully resistant to almost all industrial chemicals, offering a self-lubricating, non-stick surface that reduces operating torque and prevents media adhesion. The CF8M (AISI 316) disc provides outstanding resistance to pitting and general corrosion, particularly in chloride-containing environments.
A worm gear operator delivers high mechanical advantage, making manual operation smooth and effortless even for larger valve sizes (typically from DN200 upward). The gearbox is self-locking, holding the disc securely at any position without creeping. A clear visual position indicator is provided on the gear housing.
The compact wafer design allows direct installation between standard pipeline flanges (EN 1092, ANSI B16.5, etc.) using through-bolts, saving space, weight, and installation cost. The top flange can be machined to ISO 5211 standards for future actuator mounting if required.
Available in sizes from DN50 to DN600 (2″ to 24″), with customizable pressure ratings (PN10, PN16, Class 150, etc.), this valve is a reliable choice for chemical processing, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, water treatment, and other corrosive service applications.
