Complete Metal Isolation–Both the seat and disc are fully encapsulated in virgin PTFE, ensuring that no metal surface contacts the process media. This eliminates corrosion, pitting, and contamination risks entirely.
Unmatched Chemical Resistance–PTFE withstands a pH range of 0 to 14, resisting 98% sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid (≤30% concentration), chlorine, caustic soda, and virtually all organic solvents.
Bubble-Tight Shut-Off–The PTFE seat and disc create a resilient sealing interface that delivers bubble-tight shut-off certified to API 598, with zero leakage even in demanding service conditions.
Independent Pipeline Mounting–Threaded lugs on the valve body allow each side to be bolted independently to pipe flanges. This enables dead-end service–the valve can be installed at the end of a pipeline or used to isolate a section for maintenance.
Simplified Maintenance–The valve can be removed from one side without depressurizing or shutting down the entire pipeline–a critical advantage in chemical plants where downtime is costly.
