The nylon coating effectively protects the disc from corrosive chemicals, water, and abrasive fluids, extending the valve’s service life.
The valve plates coated with nylon spray feature a non-stick surface, which effectively prevents particle adhesion and reduces flow turbulence, thereby lowering maintenance costs.
Low Initial Purchase Price: Compared to gate, globe, or ball valves of the same size, wafer-type butterfly valves are generally less expensive to manufacture. Their simple design requires fewer parts and less material.
