Product Overview

A lug butterfly valve is a quarter-turn flow control device with threaded inserts on both sides of the body, allowing each side to be bolted independently to pipe flanges. This design enables dead-end service–the valve can be removed from one side of the pipeline while the other side remains pressurized, making maintenance isolation faster and safer.

This 12-inch model features a ductile iron body, a CF8M stainless steel disc for superior corrosion resistance, an NBR seat for reliable sealing in oil and fuel service, and an SS420 stem for robust torque transmission. The NBR seat makes this valve particularly suited for media containing hydrocarbons, oils, and fuels–where EPDM would degrade.
