1. Pinless Disc Design–Superior Hygiene & Corrosion Resistance
No Crevices for Debris–Unlike traditional disc designs that use pins to secure the disc to the stem, the pinless design eliminates exposed crevices and cavities where debris, bacteria, or corrosive media can accumulate.
Prevents Corrosion Trapping–Pin holes and crevices are common sites for pitting and crevice corrosion. The pinless design removes these vulnerable spots, significantly extending disc and stem life in aggressive environments.
Easy Maintenance–With no pins to corrode or loosen, maintenance is simplified and the risk of in-service failure is reduced.
2. Double Flanged Connection–Maximum Rigidity
Integral Flanges on Both Ends–The valve bolts directly to mating pipe flanges on both sides, providing the most secure and rigid connection available.
Bidirectional Dead-End Service–Supports isolation and removal of pipe sections on either side while the valve remains closed and sealed.
Easier Alignment–Integral flanges simplify mounting and centering between pipeline flanges–no complicated alignment procedures.
3. Body Material–Ductile Iron (GGG40)
High Strength–Ductile iron offers approximately twice the tensile strength of gray iron, providing reliable performance under pressure surges.
Impact Resistance–The nodular graphite structure provides exceptional toughness, withstanding mechanical shock and vibration.
Corrosion Protection–Combined with standard epoxy coating (250μm minimum), the body resists corrosion in water and wastewater service.
4. Disc Material–CF8 Stainless Steel (AISI 304)
Good Corrosion Resistance–CF8 provides reliable resistance to oxidation and corrosion in water, mild chemicals, and atmospheric exposure.

5. Seat Material – Vulcanized EPDM Rubber
Zero Leakage Path–Chemically bonded to the body with no gaps or crevices between the seat and valve body, eliminating potential leak paths.
Full Isolation of Metal–The vulcanized liner fully encapsulates all wetted metal surfaces, completely isolating the ductile iron body from the process fluid.
Eliminates Flange Gaskets–The vulcanized seat extends to the outer edge of the valve body, serving as an integrated flange seal–one less component to fail.
